Random pictures

I know everyone wants to see Ema so here are some pictures that we took this morning. One of her favorite things to do is take something and put it in and take it out. She will sit and do this for 10 15 minutes, over and over again. This morning it was Ritz crackers. She loves these so before we went for a walk she actually got out of my lap and sat on the bed and we played a little and ate a little. (Mom, you were right, whatever keeps her occupied. If she wants to smush crackers all over the bed it's ok because it was Kirk's side of the bed...ha ha ha!)

I treasured the days that you wanted to cling to me and then you dropped me for THAT HORRILE THING CALLED DAD!(ha ha) Cherish the moments because they pass soo fast. I love you and miss you and pray that she will soon bond with Kirk.I was up about 5 or 6 times waiting on photos during the night! She is beautiful. Give Kirk my love. DD

Hi, Emily, this is Sara Honeycutt and I work for Mr. Charles. Mrs. Pat has kept me updated throughout your entire adoption process!! I've prayed for you, Kirk and Ema for a long time. I've not had the privilege of meeting you all, but we share a common love for the Lord and for His children!! I have three little boys, so I am hoping for a chance to someday meet your little Ema Li. Mrs. Pat is at the river, but she called me to give her an update on your blog because we have all become addicted!!! I can't wait to get to work in the mornings so that I can see what's happening next! She asked me to tell you that you all are still in her prayers and that she cannot wait for your homecoming!!! God bless your new little family!! Rest assured that not only are your friends and loved ones praying, but that your story has captured the hearts of others and we are praying as well. Take care and I look forward to someday meeting you!!

Hey Emily,
I finally figured out how to post! I can't tell you how much I have looked forward to your updates. I was crying for Ema those first few days. Then my heart leapt when I saw her laughing on the bed. She is going to be just fine. She has two wonderful parents who are being very thoughtful about her perspective. Try to relax! I know, easier said than done. It doesn't matter it you can't put your hair up, just let it be a mess, the only person you need to impress right now is Ema. Take care, I'll keep you in my prayers. Shawna
